GTC Energy Surf School

Article 1: General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Regulations

Participants must have personal liability insurance covering surfing, be able to swim 15 metres and have no medical contraindications to surfing and have read the General Conditions of Sale and the present rules.

I acknowledge that I have been informed of my interest in subscribing to an insurance contract, the purpose of which is to offer a lump sum guarantee in the event of bodily injury.

The parents or guardians of underage trainees must ensure that they take their children to the meeting point for the surfing session and that they are there when the trainees return.

Article 2: Payment of courses.

Payment for courses must be made at the time of registration by cheque, vouchers, cash or bank transfer (IBAN: FR76 1090 7000 2006 0216 6213 811).

For all bookings by Phone,email or inscription form, this must be accompanied by a deposit via bank transfer or a cheque made out to ENERGY SURF SCHOOL and sent to the address indicated.

The balance of the payment is to be made on the 1st day of the course/class.

The reservation is effective upon receipt of the payment of the deposit via bank transfer or upon receipt of the completed inscription form accompanied by a deposit cheque to the address indicated.

Article 3: Cancellation of courses.

The ENERGY SURF SCHOOL reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel courses if circumstances oblige it to do so, in particular in the event of bad weather conditions (lack of waves, storms, pollution, etc.) and in the case of events beyond its control, providing for a session of Yoga/Pilates if possible or failing that, a refund.

The school reserves the right to cancel a group cours if a minimum of three people are not present.
Any cancellation by the participant within 15 days before the date of the 1st course will result in the deposit being cashed.
A course/class not taken because of the participant will not be reimbursed except on presentation of a medical certificate.
Any absence or cancellation not notified 24 hours in advance will be invoiced.

Full cancellation:

– In case of cancellation 10 days or more before the date of the service, no penalty will be retained.

– 50% of the price will be charged for cancellations made between 10 and 3 days before the date of the event.

– 75% of the price will be charged for cancellations made 48 hours prior to the date of the event.

– The full price will be charged for cancellations made on the day of the event.

Partial cancellation:

Reduction in the number of people initially booked: If this number is less than 10%, there will be no penalty. If the number of people cancelled is more than 10%, the full amount of the original group booking is due.

Article 4: Responsibility of the structure.

The trainees will be taken in charge by the structure and therefore under the responsibility of the monitors when their name is called. They remain under the responsibility of the instructor until they return to the initial meeting point.

The civil liability of the structure concerning these trainees ceases outside the time limits described above.
The parents or guardians of the trainees must ensure, before entrusting the trainees to the structure, that the planned surf lesson is taking placee.

The participants certify that they are aware of the civil liability insurance cover taken out by the ENERGY SURF SCHOOL and that they have been informed of their interest in taking out additional insurance cover in the event of physical injury occurring during the activities organised by ENERGY SURF SCHOOL (modified Law of 1984).

The participants nevertheless acknowledge that they have individual civil liability insurance.

Article 5 : Commitments of the company.

Within the framework of the chosen option, the school commits to respect the Quality Charter of the French Surf School Label in terms of quality of reception, teaching, supervision and safety.

The necessary equipment: wetsuits, surfboards, etc. will be provided to the trainee free of charge during the lessons.
Participants are responsible for the equipment entrusted to them (boards, wetsuits, etc.) during class time and in particular in case of loss, theft or damage.

Article 6: Theft of objects

The ENERGY SURF SCHOOL declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to objects that may be given to them.

Article 7 : Right to the image.

By subscribing to the services organised by the ENERGY SURF SCHOOL, you authorise the latter to use photos and and/or films of your image taken during your training class, for the production of any advertising document and this without any financial counterpart.
